Weingut Wutzl

The Wutzl winery is located in Gobelsburg, a village in the heart of the Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) in Austria. The 18-hectare winery is run by Franz-Josef Wutzl. The majority of the area is planted with Grüne Veltliner, Riesling and Zweigelt. Other varieties such as Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Gelber Muskateller, St. Laurent and Cabernet Sauvignon complement the range perfectly. The young winegrower sees it as his vocation to produce purist, top-quality wines under environmentally friendly conditions. After all, he believes that healthy flora and fauna in the vineyards are the cornerstone of a successful winery. In the wine cellar, he tries to intervene as little as possible in the development of the wines, as this results in very authentic, site-specific wines.
