Rudi Rabl is delighted with the traditional history of his family winery, which dates back to 1750. Originally run as a mixed farm, the winery has developed into a family business with 80 hectares of vineyards in the best Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German) vineyards. With Johanna and Tobias, the next generation is already training as winemakers and oenologists. Their love of nature and grapes, organic vineyard work with herbal plants and knowledge of professional processing ensure the excellent quality of the various types of wine. In the cellar, modernity is combined with traditional values. Ecology is an important factor and the winery has been certified as "Sustainable Austria" since 2015. The highlights of the awards in recent years include being named "White Wine Maker" of the Year 2019 at the IWSC in London. Other successes include the two Decanter Trophy Winners Grüne Veltliner Dechant and Riesling Steinhaus as well as the 2017 State Winner in the Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc categories, as well as ongoing salon wines. The winery was also named "Winery of the Year" in Kamp Valley ("Kamptal" in German).
